The selected candidate will be engaged on an indefinite basis as Inspector at the Authority for the Responsible Use of Cannabis.
This appointment is subject to a probationary period of six (6) months.
The salary for the post of Inspector within the Authority for the Responsible Use of Cannabis is equivalent to Grade 7, that is, €18,627.00 (Eighteen thousand, six hundred twenty-seven Euro) per annum up to a maximum of €20,979.00 (Twenty thousand, nine hundred seventy-nine Euro), rising by annual increase of €567 (five hundred sixty-seven Euro) (COLA included) and an increment of €336 (Three hundred thirty-six Euro).
The Inspector shall be expected to work on a 40 Hour Basis. If and when instructed by the Executive Chairperson, an overtime rate of one and a half times the basic hourly rate shall apply.
The appointee must ensure that he/she operates within the framework of the Code of Ethics under Chapter 595 of the Public Administration Act and will not carry any form of work outside of this employment which may be against the interest of the Authority for the Responsible Use of Cannabis and/or which may lead to a conflict of interest or interfere with the performance of his/her official duties with the Authority for the Responsible Use of Cannabis. Private work invariably necessitates the permission of the Executive Chairperson.
